A custom index can be created by combining two or more of Dorchester’s Capital Market Indexes. Each weight can be set to any whole number ranging from 0 to 100. The weights can be applied either at the start of each month (default) or one time, at the starting date, by using the 'Rebalance Monthly' check box. A pie chart showing the calculated percentage of the weights is displayed below.
